A pre-made frame with stiles, rails and muntins, which is attached to the front of a pair of ends, forming the front part of a carcase.
Here is just one example of a front frame; they can be quite varied in styles to suit the different individual layouts of cabinets (e.g. chests of drawers, bookcases, wardrobes etc.).
