[edit] BBQ and Fire Pit

Low Cost Outdoor Fireplace and Barbecue Combination

[edit] BBQ Brick Pit- (Block Fire Place)

Shown here is a practical, inexpensive outdoor fireplace which can be built in six easy steps.

[edit] BBQ Brick Pit, with Wood Storage Rack

An extra bit of space in your back yard plus a little time to kill are all you need to install a permanent picnic right at home. The sturdy fireplace shown here will handle roasts, grills, or almost anything else needed to make a man-sized meal.

[edit] Box, PORTABLE COMPOSTING BIN

This composting unit is very flexible. It can be moved easily to turn a pile or to build a new one. Simply undo the latches, pull the sides apart, and move it. It can also be used as a stationary unit, and works well in small spaces.

[edit] Planter Box

This planter is large enough to hold a potted shrub, mixed flowers or even a miniature herb garden. The "tiered" construction process makes it both easy to build and sturdy enough for years of use.

[edit] Flower Box

Flower boxes are a nearly indispensable addition to a treated-wood terrace. The model illustrated here includes a false bottom to support a flower pot. We don’t recommend you plant flowers directly into it, unless you’re prepared to line the interior surface with polystyrene board and a polyethylene film. Only use treated-wood screws (porcelain coated or stainless steel) to build your flower box, otherwise you’ll be faced with traces of rust after a few years. Get your actual free plan for this flowerbox as well as the list of required materials for this project. For viewing and printing, you will need to use Acrobat Reader software.

[edit] Indoor Window Box

If this idea appeals to you, too, there are all sorts of ways to go about it. Use as much creativity in your living room as you would in the garden. First, choose the style of material to coordinate with its surroundings, then away you go.
