[edit] Chair, -18th Century

This 19th Century chair made by Tom Sutton of Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire, England, has a stained beech back with a rush seat. It's design is based on an 18th Century model.

[edit] Rocking Chair, Mission-Style

These old rockers were often the favourite seats in the house, and it is surprising how often our modern homes are furnished without one.

[edit] Rocking Chairs, Handcrafted

Using store bought plans with templates (no link available) Ron gives a walk through of how to build these garden rocking chairs.

[edit] Rocker, Adirondack Style Two Seater

As with the standard chair, this rocker was constructed using pine, although a hardier, albeit more expensive, wood will provide many more years of enjoyment.

[edit] Dinning Chair

Oak, leather and classic design combine to make this the best seat in the house.

[edit] Bannister Colonial Wing Back Chair

A colonial chair in maple makes a satisfying project, being easy to build and offering no great problem in upholstering. A chair of this type combines well with conventional two piece overstuffed living room suites and also makes an attractive bedroom chair.

[edit] Kitchen Chair

An elegant stool that’s just right for your kitchen.

[edit] Child's Chair

This is one of my favourite plans, it is easily modified and the kids really enjoy the chair. I have made some modifications to the original plan. Original Plan as it appeared in 1960

[edit] Chaise Lounge

Shirl makes a chaise to lounge on throughout the summer when the best way to be is laid-back.

[edit] Chair, Little People

This project requires a fair amount of wood working skills. However, the end result is intended for use by a one-year old or older.

[edit] Chair, Morris

Plans on how to....

[edit] Chair, Portable

Shirl puts together a collapsible beach chair.

[edit] Reclining Veranda Chair

Far more attractive than the common types of banana lounges, a pair of these chairs would grace any veranda. The shape is reminiscent of the traditional squatter's chair, while the sophisticated pivoting seat frame is far more comfortable to use.

[edit] Chair, Slatted - Carved

This plan contains a template and simple instructions necessary to produce this chair from a single standard sheet of Marine Plywood. Cheaper ply can be used, but often has voids in the core material. These however can be easily filled after shaping.

[edit] Chair, Solid Wood Sun Lounge

Leave your thin beach towel and flimsy plastic chaise lounge behind, as you relax and soak up the sun in this solid wood sun lounge. Set the adjustable backrest in an upright position while you make your way through your summer reading list. Then, for a change of pace .....

[edit] Squatters Chair

Shirl visits a bush craftsman and lends a helping hand to build a Squatter's Chair.

[edit] Chair, Stilt

When stilt walkers put on their stilts, they need a Stilt Chair

[edit] Chair, The Anniversary - Centennial Suite

The first in Popular Mechanics series is this elegant side chair, and it sets the tone for each succeeding furniture project throughout the year. With bows to both the Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau styles, they’ve created a contemporary design theme that’s compatible with any decor.

[edit] Chaise Lounge

Designed and created by Kevin Inkster, our Chaise Lounge was crafted from waste Pine.

[edit] Chaise Recliner, Classic Redwood
